Easter for me

Many people celebrating Easter with chocolates, gift exchange, rabbits. But there is an event which the Lord Jesus Christ commanded his disciples to celebrate it, but it is death itself. And it is recorded in Luke 22:19, where he ordered:''Keep doing this in remembrance of me.'' Before Jesus have been the perfect sacrifice to save us since Easter was celebrated. Christians celebrated the Passover before Jesus and Jehovah sent an angel to free the Israelites who were slaves in Egypt. Thus, God commanded the Israelites sprinkle the blood of a goat and put the posts of the doors. Then the angel of God passs by high and houses where there was no blood on ombreirass doors (which were the homes of the Egyptians), the angel came and killed the firstborn (first born son, older) man and animal. This blood served as a signal, a proteçãopara Israelis. But then when Jesus came to earth to die on our behalf, God's people no longer celebrate the Passover to commemorate the death of Jesus, because he ordered us to doing it. Jesus suffered and died to save us. His death meant the forgiveness of our sins. Therefore, we should all celebrate the death of Jesus as a form of gratitude to those who saved us.
